Ella is an illustrator based in Peterborough Ontario, and a recent graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design. She also graduated from Sir Sanford Fleming College in the Pre Service Firefighting program and was an Emergency Medical Responder, serving her community as a volunteer firefighter from 2018-2023. Much of her artwork reflects her first hand experiences as a first responder, and her graduating thesis project at OCADU focused on celebrating women first responders around the world and throughout history. Ella has a passion for helping others, whether they be humans or creatures! She raises Monarch butterflies every summer and teaches others about the importance of conservation and protecting these special endangered pollinators.
